The Role
As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, analysing, and optimising the performance of the business. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure effective utilisation, maintenance, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial reporting, including group consolidation and eliminations.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring efficient operations.
- Oversee AP and AR functions and month-end closing procedures.
- Plan for EOM closing timetable
- Liaise with HQ overseas for reporting and queries
- Handle tax matters such as Transfer Pricing and effective tax rate calculations.
- Coordinate audits and prepare financial statements with external advisors.
- Maintain and enhance finance systems including Workday Adaptive Planning and Power BI.
- CA or CPA qualification
- Ability to speak and write Mandarin is essential
- Audit experience in Big 4 or second tier firms highly desirable
- Experience in FMCG is preferrable but not essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Experience in financial Accounting and/or management accounting
- Prior experience with SAP B1 or Oracle preferred but not essential
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
