About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance Manager will be the key commercial and financial advisor across the Wangaratta manufacturing site.
You’ll play a critical role in driving performance and profitability—balancing hands-on financial management with strategic insight and operational influence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the GM and leadership team to provide commercial analysis, pricing insights, and financial modelling to guide decision-making.
- Owning the site’s costing framework—ensuring product costing, material, and labour variances are accurate, transparent, and continuously improved.
- Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes, including variance commentary and KPI reporting.
- Providing financial analysis for capital investments, fleet and equipment decisions, and scenario modelling to support growth.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate financial controls, risk management, and audit requirements.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in commercial finance or costing within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial sectors.
- Strong technical grounding combined with sharp commercial instincts and an ability to turn data into action.
- Confidence partnering across all levels of a business—comfortable being both “on the floor” and in strategic discussions.
- A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Strong communication skills, integrity, and a collaborative, down-to-earth style.
