The Role
Reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing the organisation’s financial and HR systems, ensuring they meet accounting, and tax requirements. You’ll work closely with finance and IT teams to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver practical, system-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain key finance and HR systems (FMIS, CPIS, HRIS) including upgrades, testing and implementation
- Provide strategic and technical advice on system functionality and process optimisation
- Lead user acceptance testing and coordinate the rollout of system enhancements
- Identify risks, develop business cases and support governance around system changes
- Deliver staff training, user documentation and ongoing systems support
- Partner with finance and people teams to improve workflows and reporting
About You
- Strong background in finance systems, business analysis, or systems testing – ideally within a large or complex organisation
- Hands-on experience with financial or payroll systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to document processes, train users and influence change across teams
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, IT or related field (desirable)
