Reporting to the Financial Controller, the System Accountant plays a key role in managing, maintaining, and improving the organisation’s financial systems and related processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as System Owner for the financial systems ecosystem, centered on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Lead system administration, configuration, upgrades, testing, and security access management.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capability.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to finance and non-finance users on system functionality and updates.
- Collaborate with IT, finance, and external vendors to ensure system alignment with organisational needs.
- Assist with month-end, year-end, and audit processes, as well as budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports using tools such as Solver and Power BI.
- Degree qualified with strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or a similar ERP.
- Intermediate - advanced Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify improvements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail, excellent planning, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
