Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for:
- Prepare monthly accruals (cashing, maintenance, payroll, sales commission)
- Responsible for consolidation, intercompany elimination and revaluations
- Prepare Trial balance and review that it is in line with expectations
- Prepare monthly corporate vendor transaction reports
- Reconcile and analyse variances for largest accounts, eg. Surcharge revenue, Rebates, rentals, cashing, payroll etc
- Record GST adjustments
- Prepare departmental spending report and reallocate records
- Report on business units expenditure
- Assist AP and Junior accountant with invoice processing and resolving complex issues, verify correct coding and provide technical advice
- Reconcile monthly rebate payments
- Manage month-end timetable
- Bachelors or Post-Graduate degree in Accounting
- CA/CPA Qualified or studying
- Experience with Microsoft AX Dynamics or large-scale ERP system
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience working as a Financial Accountant
