The Financial Accountant will report to the Financial Controller and will manage the day-to-day financial aspects of the business.
  
Key responsibilities of the role:
· Leading the month-end process
· Driving the monthly forecasting and annual budget
· Preparation of Monthly Business Review (MBR)
· Collecting and analysing data, in the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting
· Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet
· Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register, amortisation & depreciation journals
· Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
· Backup for the monthly payroll function
· Assisting with the ongoing compliance of the New Balance internal control environment, including seeking continuous improvement of internal controls, policies, processes and procedures.
· Ad hoc projects and analysis to support the Financial Controller

To be successful you will have:
· CA/CPA Qualified (or final stages)
· An analytical mind
· A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
· A track record of commitment to and successful delivery of high-quality outputs within strict deadlines (organisational and time management skills)
· Advance excel skills (Vlookup, Pivots, Sum ifs etc)
· Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
· Commercial and business awareness
· Good communication skills – both written and verbal
· Committed to knowledge sharing & development of colleagues
· Experience in Retail/Direct to Consumer is preferred
