Our client is a leading NFP organisation within the aged care sector. As they move forward with new technology and processes, we're looking for a proactive and skilled Financial Accountant to join our team and contribute to an exciting period of growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean up the current finance system to ensure smooth transition as we implement a new system.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of all balance sheets in preparation for audit, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
- Reconcile and balance Fixed Assets to maintain accurate records.
- Review Debtors and Creditors to ensure proper accounting and timely resolution.
- Assist with business improvements and align with the strategic goals of the Finance & Tech team.
- Support the Finance Manager with month-end activities, including preparation of monthly reports.
- Help with the reconciliation and business process improvement of payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Complete finance procedures in line with company policies and standards.
- Take on ad hoc tasks as needed to support the finance function.
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant in Aged Care or the NFP space
- CA/ CPA qualified
- Immediately Available
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and proactive problem-solving ability.
