About the Role:
Reporting to APAC Finance Director, the role’s primary mandate is to oversee and manage Australian and NZ financial operations.  As the Financial Controller, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our financial strategy, providing insightful analysis, and driving operational excellence across our global operations, day to day you will be involved in the following:
  • Partnering with the Executive Leadership Team;
  • Actively contribute to defining short and long term business strategies and setting up financial KPIs;
  • Inventory and Cost Accounting (Standard costing, BOM, Machine & Labour costing);
  • Provide detailed and accurate Budgeting & Forecasting reports;
  • Cash flow management across ANZ;
  • Tax Compliance for ANZ;
  • Streamlining end to end financial processes and ensuring compliance with group wide Financial Control Policies, IFRSs, and US GAAP.
  • Supporting Australian Leadership team by providing them with the financial analysis, supporting in the delivery of operational KPIs;
  • Providing support to the Commercial and Operations Directors on the key areas of focus, including operational unit and customer-based profitability and cost analysis.
  • Assisting ANZ Operations with continuous focus on cost control, productivity gains and working capital management
About the Person:
As the successful candidate you will either be CA/CPA qualified with proven experience in a financial leadership role within a global manufacturing environment.  You will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles, financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting, with advanced proficiency in Excel and a large ERP system.  This role will require your exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions and tell the story behind the numbers.
