Excellent opportunity to be part of an ASX listed growing infrastructure and construction organisation that has been operating for over 50 years. They have a long history of delivering range of projects that has positive outcome for the community. They are in search of an Finance Controller - immediately start for a 6 month contractual assignment to lead the finance team through year end. There is genuine opportunity for the role to be extended with recent acquisitions and projected growth trajectory of the business.
The Responsibilities
- Management of financial results - monthly, half yearly & yearly
- Integration of newly acquired business
- Consolidation of 4 entities
- Mentor and develop team of 8
- ASX reporting requirements incl. Investor Presentation
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiency
The role require a very technically strong (tax, share-based accounting & consolidation) qualified accounting professional with project accounting or construction industry experience and/or worked in an ASX listed organisation. Additionally, you must be hands on finance leader, proven team management experience and have worked in complex organisation previously. Prior experience with JobPac ERP will be highly advantageous.
