The Role
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this opportunity has arisen following recent team changes. The position will provide critical support across commercial finance and planning, ensuring accuracy of reporting, insight for decision-making, and continuity during a period of transition.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing P&L reporting and analysis across marketing, sales, and export functions.
- Partnering with commercial teams to provide financial insights supporting growth strategies, including entry into new international markets.
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and target-setting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Delivering monthly risk & opportunity consolidation to support executive decision-making.
- Month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and timely analysis of performance against forecast.
- Supporting system transition projects and process improvements within the FP&A function.
Candidate Profile
- Degree qualified; part or fully CA/CPA highly regarded.
- 4–7 years’ experience within FP&A, commercial finance, or audit (Big 4 first movers into industry welcomed).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to extract and interpret large data sets.
- FMCG/retail experience is highly desirable but not essential
- Quick learner with strong communication skills, able to build relationships across finance and commercial teams.
