About the Position

Reporting into the Regional Vice President, the General Manager ANZ will oversee a team of 50 with 6 direct reports across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and HR and take full responsibility for P&L performance. Key metrics sitting against; Net Sales, Operating Profit and Working Capital.
  
With a transformation agenda, it will lead the development and execution of local business and brand strategies, ensuring strong operational excellence, governance, and compliance. Coaching and development of high-performing teams in line with strengthening organisational capability will be key.  
  
There will be strong top to top customer interaction across strategic partners (Coles, WW, Indies and Bunnings), tight oversight on product portfolio and brand execution, as well as local investment budgets to optimise assortment, pricing, promotions, and resource allocation.
  
About you
  
Direct exposure to major grocery is essential. You will ideally have a proven track record off leading a commercial function within a matrix driven global FMCG player and successful progressed into General Management or CEO role more recently.
  
By default, you will be a people centric leader who drives a strong balance between empathy and accountability in line with building robust business process rigour. You will have a proven track record of consistent delivery against a suite of business KPI’s whilst maintaining an inclusive and collaborative business environment and deep customer engagement.
