About the role

Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the Board, you will be responsible for setting the financial direction, driving commercial outcomes, and enabling sound strategic decisions across a diverse and complex operation. Leading a highly dynamic team, this s a key executive leadership role requiring a hands-on, commercially minded individual with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels in a fast-moving, multi-site organisation.
  
Duties

• Lead the finance, commercial and strategy functions with a focus on performance, innovation, and alignment to business goals
• Collaborate with the CFO and executive team to shape long-term strategy and commercial priorities
• Present confidently and credibly to the Board, providing insights that drive informed, strategic decisions
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, capital management, and reporting across a complex, multi-site footprint
• Lead commercial initiatives that improve financial outcomes and business performance
• Develop and lead a high performing team, while maximising employee engagement and enablement across the function

Skills and Experience
 
You are CA/CPA qualified and have compiled an impressive track record and reputation as a high achieving finance leader with a preference or exposure working in large multi-site environments with operational and commercial complexity, ASX-listed experience is advantageous. You have highly developed technical accounting skills and have experience with large ERP systems and BI tools. You have a strong commercial acumen, along with proven experience managing complex and high-level stakeholder relationships.

You are a big picture thinker who can reason at a conceptual level and drive change, while still maintaining strong attention to detail.  You communicate clearly, influence effectively and pride yourself in your ability to engage and present to Board and stakeholders confidently.
