An exciting opportunity for a recent accounting or commerce graduate to join a well-established, industry-leading organisation with a strong national and international presence. This role within the finance team offers exposure to key financial functions, including financial reporting, compliance, treasury, and taxation. This is role is ideal for someone looking to start their long-term career in finance, with structured support, mentoring, collaboration and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statements, including journal processing, commentary, and analysis.
- Support general ledger reconciliations and financial workpapers.
- Assist with asset management, reconciliation, and reporting across the Group.
- Perform bank reconciliations and other treasury-related tasks.
- Provide support for the annual Group audit and financial statement preparation.
- Participate in tri-annual stocktakes and reconciliations.
- Support general administrative and financial tasks as required.
We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with:
- A recently completed degree in Accounting, Business, or Commerce.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an eagerness to learn financial systems.
- A passion for building a long-term career in finance (CA/CPA study support available).
- Relevant work experience in an accounting/finance role (preferred but not essential).
