We are partnering with a leading healthcare organisation to recruit an experienced Group Consolidation Analyst for a short-term, high-impact project. This senior role will work closely with the Finance Manager and executive finance team to support group-level consolidation and reporting during a period of increased regulatory and business activity. This is a hands-on, outcomes-focused role suited to a Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA) with a strong technical background in group consolidations, ideally within large or complex organisational structures.
The Responsibilities:
Working with the Finance Manager and reporting into the Head of Finance, you’ll take ownership of the group consolidation process across a multi-entity structure, playing a pivotal role in supporting monthly reporting and year-end close. You'll also assist in delivering statutory accounts, liaising with auditors, and supporting the broader finance transformation agenda.
- Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements across the group
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Support statutory reporting in line with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and IFRS
- Liaise with divisional finance teams to validate intercompany eliminations and adjustments
- Partner with the Finance Manager to deliver audit-ready consolidation files
- Identify and implement process improvements across consolidation activities
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for executive stakeholders
- CA/CPA/CIMA Qualified
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in group consolidations within large, complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and AASB.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with consolidation tools.
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment.
- Strong stakeholder communication and senior-level business partnering skills.
