We are partnering with a high-performing, global organisation in the sporting goods sector to appoint a Finance Business Partner within their ANZ business. This is a pivotal role for an analytically strong and commercially astute finance professional who thrives on partnering across the business to drive insight, performance and sustainable growth.

About the Role
Reporting into senior leadership, the Finance Business Partner will deliver strategic financial insight, robust reporting and value-adding analysis to both executive stakeholders and operational teams. This role suits someone who can turn complex financial data into clear, actionable insights, confidently challenge assumptions, and support informed decision-making across a diverse, fast-paced environment.

You will partner closely with functions including Supply Chain, IT, HR, Customer Service and Sales/Operations, making demonstrated cross-functional business partnering experience essential. The role also includes one direct report and offers exposure to both local and regional strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality financial insights, modelling and analysis to support business performance and informed decision-making
  • Lead end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with broader strategic objectives
  • Proactively identify risks, opportunities and emerging trends to influence commercial outcomes
  • Support monthly and quarterly performance reviews, partnering closely with senior stakeholders
  • Ensure strong adherence to internal controls, financial governance and compliance standards
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive efficiencies, inform channel strategy and support operational teams
  • Lead, coach and develop a finance analyst, fostering capability and performance
About You
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering
  • Strong track record influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functional areas
  • Excellent analytical and modelling capability (Excel, Power BI advantageous)
  • Able to communicate complex financial information clearly and meaningfully
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment
