The Role
Reporting to the General Manager Finance and working closely with the Group CFO, this is a pivotal leadership position responsible for the Group Finance, Treasury and Reporting functions across the organisation.
You will oversee statutory and management reporting, ASX and regulatory compliance, taxation, and financial governance across a complex, multi-entity group structure. As a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, you’ll lead a team of 15, ensuring the business continues to meet the high standards of financial control, integrity, and transparency expected of an ASX-listed entity. You’ll also partner closely with senior executives to provide insights and analysis that support strategic decision-making and long-term performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Group Finance function, overseeing all aspects of financial and management reporting, treasury, taxation, and compliance.
- Manage monthly, half-year and year-end reporting cycles and ensure timely, accurate delivery of ASX and statutory obligations.
- Partner with FP&A and Financial Operations teams to drive improvements in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting systems.
- Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards and corporate governance requirements.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team (15 reports), fostering engagement, capability, and collaboration.
- Manage relationships with auditors, taxation advisors, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide insights and analysis to the CFO, Executive Committee, and Audit Committee to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive process and system improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and business partnering outcomes.
You are CA/CPA qualified and bring proven experience as a senior finance leader within a complex, multi-entity or ASX-listed organisation. You combine strong technical expertise with commercial acumen, and you’re known for driving improvement and building trust across diverse stakeholder groups.
You’re a confident communicator, a natural leader, and a steady hand in dynamic environments where rigour, collaboration, and strategic foresight are essential.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance with CA/CPA accreditation.
- Big 4 / Mid-Tier upbringing (highly desirable)
- Extensive experience in financial reporting, treasury, and compliance within complex or listed environments.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax, and governance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in high-performance environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver process improvement and system enhancement initiatives.
