You'll lead the development and delivery of best-in-class fleet management practices, overseeing systems, policies, reporting, vendor relationships, and internal stakeholder support.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise a fleet of ~1700 vehicles nationally
- Oversee acquisition, maintenance, servicing, fuel, insurance, and registration processes
- Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency, utilisation, safety, and cost control
- Maintain and enhance fleet systems and reporting tools (including Excel-based analysis)
- Drive standardisation and compliance across multiple business units
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and third-party service providers
- Lead audits, reconciliations, and risk mitigation initiatives
- Deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders
- 4+ years’ experience managing large fleets (ideally multi-site or multi-business unit)
- Proven experience leading change and driving process improvement
- Advanced Excel and strong data/reporting capability
- Strong commercial and compliance mindset
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience across leased and owned fleets, ICE and hybrid vehicles
