The role is accountable for the end‑to‑end leadership, governance and delivery of Group‑wide financial planning, forecasting and performance reporting, ensuring consistency, integrity and clarity of financial outputs across all regions.
The role is the functional owner of Group FP&A processes and systems and is a key driver of continuous improvement and capability uplift across the finance function.
Role details
- Lead Group‑wide planning processes, including Strategy / 4YP, annual budget and monthly forecasts
- Set Group planning assumptions, frameworks and requirements, ensuring consistency across regions
- Challenge and validate regional submissions to ensure robustness, completeness and commercial realism
- Present consolidated Group plans, forecasts and scenarios to senior leadership and the Board
- Support strategic initiatives, investment decisions and ad‑hoc analysis through robust financial modelling and insight
- Act as the Group owner of the new system application, ensuring it delivers best‑practice FP&A and management reporting outcomes
- Lead, coach and develop Group FP&A leaders and analysts, building strong analytical, commercial and communication capability
- Establish consistent FP&A methodologies, definitions and standards across different countries
- Promote a continuous improvement culture to improve the quality, timeliness and relevance of FP&A outputs
- Act as a senior finance leader within Group Finance, contributing to broader functional priorities and initiatives
- Degree qualified (Business, Commerce or equivalent)
- CA / CPA qualified
- 10+ years’ experience in financial and management accounting, including planning
- Experience in large, complex organisations (preferably multi‑national), where stakeholders are primarily Executive and Board level
- Proven experience leading Group‑wide planning, forecasting and performance reporting processes
- Demonstrated leadership of senior finance professionals across multiple regions
- Extensive experience developing and implementing streamlined processes to drive improved commercial outcomes
- Strong experience with financial consolidation, planning systems and data integrations
