As the Head of External Reporting, you will lead a dynamic team through the quarterly reporting processes with a strong knowledge of US GAAP & IFRS. You'll be the trusted advisor, providing technical accounting expertise and ensuring that financial information meets the highest standards. Duties
- Lead, mentor, and develop the external reporting team with a focus on culture and excellence.
- Lead preparation and submission of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide expert technical accounting advice to business units on key transactions and reporting matters.
- Manage external financial close and reporting calendar in coordination with internal teams.
- Oversee the preparation of high-quality financial reports, liaising with external auditors and stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely information.
- Build strong relationships with business units and provide practical solutions to accounting and reporting challenges.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of processes and the quality of financial reporting outputs.
- CA/CPA qualified with 10+ years relevant experience
- US GAAP listed experience in quarterly reporting
- Big-4, mid-tier background preferred
- Team management experience to lead a team of three
- A keen eye for detail, coupled with a strategic mindset
- A passion for continuous improvement
