We are seeking an experienced Finance Director/CFO to join the ANZ leadership team and take responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of the Finance function across Australia and New Zealand. This role goes beyond traditional financial management – it is a true business partnership position. Acting as a key advisor to the Managing Director and leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, enabling informed decision-making, and ensuring strong governance in a complex, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and partner with the leadership team to deliver the ANZ business strategy.
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting to enable growth and profitability.
  • Oversee all finance operations including accounting, taxation, compliance, and risk management.
  • Drive cost discipline, cash flow management, and capital allocation to support business priorities.
  • Collaborate effectively within a global matrix structure, aligning ANZ with global finance initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and commercial thinking.
About You:
  • Degree qualified with CA/CPA/CIMA.
  • Industry experience from manufacturing, supply chain, distribution or a similar industrial/operational workforce (essential). 
  • Seasoned CFO with strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at executive and board level.
  • Experience operating in a global, matrixed structure with multiple stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, inclusive leader with a focus on developing talent and building future capability.
