The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will lead the legal function and play a key role in supporting business growth, shaping legal strategy and embedding a proactive, commercially focused legal culture.
About the Role:
As Head of Legal, you will oversee a small team and act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing strategic and hands-on legal support across a broad range of areas. The role is both operational and strategic, requiring strong leadership capability alongside the ability to remain close to the work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing legal team
- Advising senior stakeholders on commercial, corporate and regulatory matters
- Overseeing the negotiation of high-value commercial agreements
- Ensuring compliance across privacy, consumer, employment and regulatory frameworks
- Supporting M&A activity, governance and board-level matters
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to embed legal risk management into business processes
- Managing external counsel and regulatory engagement
- Driving legal operations improvement, including contract lifecycle management and legal tech initiatives
You are a senior lawyer (8–10+ PQE) with a blend of private practice and in-house experience, ideally gained within a regulated industry such as telecommunications, technology or financial services.
