The Position 
  
Partnering with the current People and Culture Operations Manager along with the border People & Culture Team, you will be supporting over 3,000 Team Members nationally across 150+ services throughout Australia. Thus, providing a fast-paced, engaging, and demanding environment, with no two days being the same. This role will see you being accountable for and partnering with a client group of 40 services providing front-line generalist industrial and employment relations advice and support.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide generalist advice, supporting employee lifecycle activity and programs, through being the first point of contact for team members and leaders in your client group;
  • Support, coordinate, and initiate employee engagement and culture initiatives projects, and events;
  • Researching and applying best practice, relevant legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines. Along with preparation and review of policy, procedure, work instructions to create relevant short training sessions;
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to connect and partner with Leadership and Operational teams located throughout Australia.
Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of effective partnering relationships within a HR Business Partner capacity;
  • Completed tertiary education in Human Resources, or related discipline;
  • Proven knowledge of IR/ER including award interpretation, employment legislation, and how to manage cases and mentoring leaders to manage people, and leading formal and informal grievances and performance management matters;
  • Ability to obtain or already holding a Blue Card/Suitability Card.
