This is an exciting opportunity to be hands-on across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, reporting, and health and safety—while also supporting key business systems and employee engagement initiatives.
About the Role Reporting to the Group HR Manager ANZ, you will work closely with the broader HR and WHS teams to:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment including advertising, screening, interview coordination, and reference checks
- Conduct onboarding, inductions (including safety/site-specific), and facilitate systems setup for new starters
- Maintain personnel files, policy registers, and position descriptions
- Draft employment contracts, letters, and documentation for onboarding, offboarding, and changes
- Assist in investigations, grievance handling, and performance management including issuing of written warnings
- Coordinate pre-employment checks, VEVO checks, and medical appointments
- Support the workers’ compensation process from incident reporting to return-to-work
- Upload medical certificates and track absenteeism via Humanforce
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for Executive and quarterly management meetings, including minute-taking
- Provide training and support on HR systems such as Humanforce, Employment Hero, and SAP
- Manage IT asset allocation, stationery, door code access, and PPE register
- Lead wellbeing and social initiatives as part of the site Social Committee (e.g., monthly BBQs, birthdays)
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with internal stakeholders and external providers
- Minimum 3 years' HR experience or a degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
- Working knowledge of HR systems, data analytics, and reporting
- Sound understanding of WHS and employment legislation
- High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and juggle multiple priorities
- Good judgement and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
