Role Overview
The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the functional administration, maintenance and support of systems within People and Culture and plays a key role in enhancing the employee experience through system solutions.

  • Configuration Experience 
The role provides system support to existing processes, solution development, configuration and implementation of people systems and modules that reflect best practice.

- 6-month daily rate contract

- Reports to the P&C Systems Manager

Key Role Responsibilities
  • Ensure the system and users are adequately supported through prompt resolution of system problems, maintenance of system documentation and the performance of regular tasks.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement and efficiency opportunities
  • Project and program management, including complex and fast-moving projects with cross workstream dependency
  • Development of user guides and systems documentation
  • Data integration and migration activities.
  • Maintenance of key system architecture.
  • Lead System upgrades and roll-outs.
  • Management of incidents, problems, and requests through to completion within agreed timeframes.
  • Conceptualise, develop, evaluate, and communicate new and innovative approaches to enhance the employee experience.
  • Testing (end-to-end, UAT, PVT etc.).
  • Troubleshooting issues quickly, and identifying and analysing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Provide documentation to support change management.
  • Report design and writing skills with data and statistical analysis skills.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • P&C and ECP configuration experience is a must.
  • P&C / Payroll system implementations.
  • 5+ yrs’ experience in a similar professional role/environment.
  • Data driven.
  • Experience operating in a compliance driven environment, ideally where employees have been covered by Agreements or Awards.
  • Demonstrated experience in working on strategic initiatives and change management in the systems environment, including contributing to significant system implementations in a complex business.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Project Management certification / ITIL Foundation.
  • Business consulting.
  • Structured Query Language (SQL) queries.
