About the Role:
The People & Culture Manager will report directly to the General Manager of HR. In this role, you’ll lead a team of 12 HR professionals, supporting a diverse operations client group. You'll have the autonomy to drive success by partnering strategically with senior leaders and championing key people initiatives across your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding to ensure a seamless and positive employee experience.
  • Industrial Relations: Work closely with the GM HR and relevant support roles to manage all aspects of Industrial Relations, including EA negotiations, dispute resolution with Unions, and employee representative groups.
  • Award and Agreement Guidance: Advise other departments on the interpretation of relevant Awards and Agreements.
  • Cost Control & Operational Impact: Partner with site leadership teams to manage HR-related cost impacts and operational requirements.
  • Staff Retention & Recruitment: Establish and manage recruitment processes, conduct exit interviews, and recommend improvements for both direct and labor hire employees.
  • Performance & Succession Planning: Create frameworks for performance management and succession planning to drive employee growth and motivation.
  • Leadership Development: Provide coaching and mentorship to leaders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and implement performance improvement plans.
  • Change Management: Lead key projects that align with organizational values and engage employees in vital change initiatives.
  • Training & Compliance: Design and deliver training programs to meet workforce planning needs and ensure compliance with HR trends, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We’re Looking for an Experienced HR Professional with:
  • A degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven success in working with both blue-collar and white-collar workforces
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and strengthen performance management, succession, and leadership development frameworks
