The Position 

This Human Resources Administrator position is an opportunity to work with one of our clients in the manufacturing sector. In this role you will be working in a team of 4 and reporting to the HR Manager. You will also be working alongside to support the HR Business Partner and HR Advisor in the full scope of HR administrative duties across the business’s operations.  

You will provide support and assistance across human resource administration duties including recruitment and selection, employee on-boarding and separation processes, documentation and adhoc administrative duties. The HR team is full of highly motivated individuals, promoting a supportive and welcoming culture.

To be successful in this role you will be an experience HR Administrator with proven experience, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the HR Team with all HR administrative duties, including but not limited to HR project research, checklists, tool drafts, roll-outs and event management;
  • Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding for all staff across the business, including inductions, new starter packs, training programs and attendance;
  • Support the HR team and business with reporting metrics and action plan implementations; 
  • Daily maintenance of employee data, HRIS system maintenance, payroll data, HR templates and organisational charts;
  • Work with a busy HR Team and be able to multitask or shift focus and reprioritise tasks as needed by the team.

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related business management discipline;
  • Demonstrated experience as a human resource administrator; 
  • Experience in manufacturing or related mixed blue and white collar environment will come highly regarded; 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence, lead, coach and develop others;
  • Ability to multi-task and switch focus to prioritise tasks as required;
  • Strong IT skills across Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
