HR Business Partner – Brisbane | Multi-Site, Growth-Focused 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a dynamic, people-centred organisation with a strong national footprint and growing presence in New Zealand. 

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture based in NZ, this position plays a key role in supporting the business through the full employee lifecycle. You’ll provide both strategic and operational HR support across workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, employee relations, remuneration, health and safety, and compliance.
The role is based in Brisbane and supports sites across Australia, with some involvement in New Zealand employment matters.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with leaders to design and deliver people strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and workplace culture.
  • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian (and NZ) employment laws and internal policies.
  • Lead and promote a proactive Health & Safety culture across the business.
  • Maintain data accuracy and HR administration through Employment Hero or similar HRIS.
  • Partner on payroll, remuneration, and benefits processes.
  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
About You
You are an approachable and confident HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders to deliver meaningful outcomes. You bring a balance of strategic insight and hands-on delivery and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You’ll also bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (postgraduate or HR certification desirable).
  • Minimum 5 years’ HR experience, including 3+ years in a partnering role.
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law (NZ experience advantageous).
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Employment Hero or similar HRIS.
  • A pragmatic, adaptable, down-to-earth style with a genuine commitment to supporting people and culture.
