About the Role:
Our client is embarking on an ambitious long-term program and is in need of a skilled ICT Category Specialist to ensure the seamless delivery of procurement services across capital and operational projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legislative & Contractual Expertise: Stay updated on relevant legislative and contractual requirements to deliver best-practice procurement services throughout project lifecycles.
- ICT Procurement Specialist: Support the ICT Category Manager as a subject matter expert, guiding stakeholders through the QITC framework, probity requirements, procurement timelines, and effective tender documentation.
- Tender Management: Prepare and evaluate tender documents with technical and commercial accuracy, using the QITC framework, and liaise with stakeholders for quality assurance.
- Contract Management: Handle complex customer service inquiries and manage contract relationships with key stakeholders to enhance contract performance, including cost containment and benefits realization.
- Strategy & Policy Contribution: Assist in the development and implementation of category strategies, procurement plans, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Professional Advisory: Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on contract and procurement issues, resolving contract variations and implementing proactive solutions.
- Knowledge Sharing & Mentorship: Continuously update your knowledge of ICT procurement processes and contribute to the development of the ICT Category Team by mentoring junior members.
- Leadership & Representation: Act as a proxy for the ICT Category Manager in meetings and committees, and take on higher duties as required.
