We’re working with a respected Queensland Government organisation to recruit an Information Support Officer to provide hands-on support across information management and records handling. This role plays a key part in ensuring information is stored, maintained, handled and accessed correctly in alignment with legislation and organisational requirements.

What you’ll be doing In this role, you will:
- Maintain key registers and records in line with legislative requirements, including Notices, Warrants, Authorities and Certifications.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for the organisation’s electronic document and records management system (eDRMS), helping staff troubleshoot access and usage issues.
- Assist with system administration tasks including upgrades, user acceptance testing, documentation updates and process improvements.
- Undertake archival activities such as coordinating the transfer or disposal of files in line with approved retention schedules.
- Deliver new-starter training related to eDRMS, records handling and exhibits processes.
- Support ongoing improvements to information management practices and contribute to small project work when required.
- Experience with information and records management practices, including retention and disposal schedules and access/security controls.
- Familiarity with electronic document and records management systems (e.g. Content Manager, Objective, TRIM, eDRMS etc.).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality service and teamwork.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while working both independently and as part of a small team.
- A helpful, proactive attitude and an interest in continuous learning.
