They are seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Security Manager to oversee and enhance our IT infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, and user support services across all operations.

About the Role

As the Infrastructure and Security Manager, you will lead all aspects of infrastructure and security management, reporting directly to the Head of Information Technology. You will manage a small, dedicated team and work closely with external Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP) to ensure operational excellence. You will also be a key member of the IT Management Team, playing a vital role in shaping and delivering IT services that support our clients goals.

Key Responsibilities
Cybersecurity & Compliance
  • Ensure systems comply with Essential 8 and other cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Lead the development and execution of incident response processes.
  • Conduct regular security audits and implement proactive security measures.
System Architecture & Implementation
  • Develop and maintain the IT and Cyber Security Roadmap.
  • Lead the design and deployment of new infrastructure and connectivity solutions.
  • Improve existing systems and ensure robust cybersecurity integration.
Technology & Innovation
  • Monitor industry trends to identify and recommend new technologies.
  • Advocate for advanced cybersecurity practices across the organisation.
Team & Vendor Management
  • Lead and support the Infrastructure and Security Team.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to optimize service delivery.
User & Remote Support
  • Oversee support operations, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Plan and lead site visits to enhance remote infrastructure and support.
Policy & Process Development
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and procedures.
  • Support the creation and implementation of IT policies aligned with organizational objectives.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, security, and support.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Networking.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, M365, SharePoint, Networking).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with MSP and MSSP partners is a plus.
