The Position 

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and based from their Craigieburn site, you will be responsible for ensuring that our staff have the capability to be outstanding in their roles and continue to be compliant with all aspects of the v businesses legislative and values .
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor employee attendance & completion.
  • Develop & maintain training schedules and allocate resources in consultation with internal and external stakeholders across operations
  • Coordinate the annual calendar of events for learning initiatives.
  • Coordinate both internal and external training events including providers admin and access requirements
  • Maintain records of all training events and assessments.
  • Identify gaps in current training
  • Maintain training matrix and update it as required
  • Run a weekly training meeting in all operational areas.
  • Manage the training schedules and all associated paperwork for Apprenticeships
  • Manage all compliance based on-line learning
  • Ensure all mandatory or regulatory training is done prior to expiry of certificatecation
  • Provide reporting to the business on achievement of learning & development goals
  • Source options for ad hoc training courses
  • Assist other team members when required, including general administration duties
Skills and Experience
  • A working knowledge of the Australian Quality Framework (AQF) for accredited training.
  • Demonstrated planning, co-ordination and resource management skills, including the proven ability to analyse situations and implement workable solutions.
  • Ability to quickly learn new IT systems and processes including Student Management Systems.
  • Demonstrated experience to prioritise critical tasks when faced with multiple responsibilities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working with training platforms and procedures.
  • A technical background would be an advantage, but not essential.
