Key Responsibilities:
- Licensing Management:
- Support the sales team in managing licensing agreements with licensors, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
- Support negotiations with presentations, forecasts and finalizing licensing deals in collaboration with the Sales team.
- Coordinate the renewal, modification, and termination of licenses, keeping accurate records.
- Collaboration with Sales Teams:
- Work closely with the Sales and product teams to understand market trends and customer needs, ensuring that licensing opportunities align with business objectives.
- Provide licensing support for sales pitches, presentations, and negotiations with potential clients.
- Advise the Sales team on legal and financial aspects of licensing agreements.
- Product Development Support:
- Collaborate with Product teams to ensure licensed products are developed in accordance with licensing terms.
- Track the progress of licensed products, ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Communicate any issues or changes to licensors or internal teams promptly to ensure smooth product launches.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for licensors, internal teams, and other external stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with licensors and partners to ensure ongoing successful collaborations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market shifts, proactively identifying new licensing opportunities.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in licensing.
- Proven track record of managing licensing agreements, working with licensors, and supporting product development teams.
- Experienced in building presentations for B2B sales teams.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of licensing processes, intellectual property laws, and royalty structures.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
