Job Description: Our client are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize there logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, demonstrated experience in DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time), and a deep understanding of the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from there manufacturing facilities to there customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Oversee the warehousing functions, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of goods.
  • Implement and monitor DIFOT performance metrics to ensure high standards of delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service teams to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage and lead a team of logistics and warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Analyze logistics data and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding and experience with DIFOT metrics and their application in logistics.
  • Extensive experience within the FMCG sector.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
