They are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead a dedicated team focused on ensuring production support, equipment reliability, and overall engagement across all functions.

About the role:

As the Maintenance Manager, you will lead a skilled team responsible for maintaining equipment and ensuring operational efficiency in a safe and compliant manner. Your role involves overseeing preventative maintenance plans, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the operational support team to exceed site production targets through efficient equipment management.
  • Develop, improve, and maintain preventative maintenance plans and prioritise resources effectively, identifying problems before they happen and putting appropriate plans in place to ensure this continues.  
  • Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts to maximise equipment reliability.
  • Support capital projects and asset rationalization activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and GMP standards.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A Mechanical trade qualification preferred, or Mechanical engineering degree with proven track record of hands on mechanical equipment maintenance.
  • Proven leadership experience with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing / industrial production environment, food preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A dedicated, supportive, and open minded leader who values the input of their team.
