Our client is a well renowned media business enjoying a large growth phase. They are currently seeking a highly motivated Accountant to join their Commercial Finance team.
Job Description
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Assist in the preparation of Monthly Financial and Management Reports
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
- Profit and Loss variance analysis including providing insightful commentary
- Reviewing and recommending opportunities for process improvement
- Provide commercial support to key Divisional Managers
- Preparation of month-end journals
- Preparation of Profit and Loss Statements
- Ad hoc duties as required
This role is suitable for an intelligent and committed high performer who is looking to undertake a broad role that will develop over time. Additionally, you will have a:
- Working towards a CA/CPA qualification; or qualified
