We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, accurate, and timely accounting services to support the organisation’s operational and strategic objectives. You’ll also play a key part in month-end reporting, tax compliance, audit preparation, and continuous process improvement while collaborating with stakeholders across the business. The duties of your role will include but not be limited to the following.
- Review business revenues and costs for accuracy and relevance
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, resolving
- Support month-end close, including accruals & balance sheet recs'
- Identify and implement opportunities for process and system improvements
- Assist with ATO submissions (BAS, GST, FBT)
- Support annual external audits and respond to auditor queries
- Prepare reporting for external and statutory bodies
- Undertake ad hoc finance tasks as required
The Candidate
You are CA/CPA qualified (or currently completing), have strong analytical and advanced Excel skill, and have a demonstrated knowledge and experience in management accounting, reconciliations and reporting. You will also have well-developed communication, time management, planning and organisational skills.
