We’re looking for a capable and energetic Management Accountant to join a high‑performing finance team in a dynamic, operationally focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with the business, turning numbers into insights, and influencing performance through strong financial analysis and commercial thinking.
As a key member of the finance function, you’ll provide accurate reporting, meaningful insights, and forward‑looking analysis to support strategic decision‑making. You’ll play an important role across budgeting, forecasting, month‑end processes, variance analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives—working closely with operational and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders and operational stakeholders
- Partner with sales, logistics, and operations teams to improve understanding and communication of financial results
- Support continuous improvement through clear, insightful financial commentary
- Monitor and manage cost drivers through disciplined P&L management
- Support robust inventory processes to drive control and reduce working capital tied up in stock
- Prepare and post month‑end journals to ensure timely and accurate close
- Perform variance analysis to support monthly performance reviews
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations with a focus on improving working capital through effective debtors, creditors, and inventory management
- Produce dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement through data‑driven analysis
- Prepare and maintain budgets and forecasts
- Support capital management activities and associated reporting
- Contribute to sustainability and ESG reporting, working closely with operational teams
- A commercially minded finance professional with strong business partnering capability
- Proven experience in management or financial accounting roles, ideally within an operational or asset‑intensive environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, or Economics
- CA or CPA qualification (or currently working towards it)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
