An Australian, multi-site service business is seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their team on a 6-month contract. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who can hit the ground running, particularly across month‑end reporting, government reporting, budgeting, and year‑end activities. You will work closely with operational stakeholders and senior finance leaders, contributing to both business‑as‑usual reporting and broader finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Support the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts across multiple sites
• Deliver monthly management reporting and detailed variance analysis
• Provide financial insights to support operational performance and margin improvement
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
• Partner with site managers and operational leaders to understand key drivers of performance
• Contribute to process improvements and reporting efficiencies during a period of growth

To be successful, you will possess:

• CA/CPA qualification (or near completion)
• Previous experience in a Finance Analyst or Management Accounting role, ideally within retail or multi-site environments
• Strong Excel capability and confidence working with ERPs/financial systems
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
