As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager of one of their most successful divisions, the Management Accountant will play a key role in driving informed business decisions. You will work closely with project teams, General Managers, and stakeholders across the organisation to support project delivery, maintain financial accuracy, and uphold strong cost-control measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and forecasts across all projects
- Liaise with General Managers and collaborate with multiple divisions across the business
- Partner with AR/AP and project administration teams, overseeing each project’s financial inputs
- Support month-end activities including journal preparation, account reconciliations, and overhead reviews
- Provide financial insights to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective cost management
- Contribute to process improvements and enhancements within financial reporting systems
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
- CA/CPA qualified or currently undertaking
- Experience in management accounting or business partnering, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or heavy machinery
- Suitable for someone transitioning from business services or a chartered environment
- Strong Excel capabilities, with exposure to financial modelling or data analysis
- Exceptional communication, time management, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
