About the role:

You will play a crucial role overseeing the Manufacturing team, ensuring manufacturing equipment is operated safely, adhering to production schedules, and ensuring products are being produced according to quality standards. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of safe and compliant products within cost parameters. You will be conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions where necessary. Additionally, the Manufacturing Manager plays a supportive and enabling role by teaching, coaching, and mentoring peers and frontline teams to uphold the business values and excellence roadmap.
  

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring safety and compliance of the production facility.
  • Identify and implement opportunities where lean manufacturing and other operational excellence tools will benefit the business.
  • Directing and guiding operators in the execution of team plans.
  • Coordinate and manage manufacturing employees in achieving business targets and goals.
  • Responsible for SOP, SOC and QC document management and compliance, including auditing the operator performance.

Ideal role for a Production Supervisor or Area Manager looking to take the next step in their career.
  
The following attributes are beneficial:
  • Experience with ISO Quality Systems, HACCP and GMP environments.
  • Supervisor experience within an automated food processing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field to manufacturing/engineering beneficial.
  • Experience implementing and actively encouraging 5S/LEAN methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of commitment and passion for human and food safety.
