About the role

The Marketing Communications Specialist will assist in the planning, message creation and execution of marketing campaigns in line with the Geofabrics strategic growth initiatives.

The role is primarily responsible for delivering targeted communications for Australia, New Zealand & the Pacific Islands – in both traditional and digital channels with the purpose of increasing the reach and impact of our clients brands. 
  
So what will you actually be doing?
  • Write, proof, and/or edit all key external communication materials including brochures, newsletters, case studies, sales tools, presentations, and flyers.
  • Assist in all new product launches, including communications planning, and the creation of targeted messaging/copywriting for media releases, EDMs and collateral.
  • Plan and coordinate conferences, webinars, and trade show events.
  • Drive, create and execute engaging content across digital platforms including website and social media.
  • Monitor and report social media and website analytics, including user insights that will assist with developing communication planning or strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement digital campaigns including SEO and Google Ads. Apply data analytics to review the effectiveness of each campaign.
  • Manage the contribution to internal communications channels (including newsletter and intranet content).
  • Ensure our communications consistently complies with our brand and style guide.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including creative agencies and supplier brands.
The nice to haves..  
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, PR or marketing
  • Proven industry experience in a similar position, B2B would be an advantage
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Copywriting and content creation and management experience
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal - are a must
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, SEO, and social media marketing
  • Knowledge in CMS website management (Drupal) an advantage
  • Knowledge in social media management software (Agorapulse, Hootsuite or similar) an advantage
