About the Role
The key objective of this role is to support the Head of Marketing in delivering key retail communications and campaigns across the Australian and New Zealand markets by working side-by-side and managing the marketing coordinator to deliver the required marketing initiatives end-to-end.
This role is responsible for managing and delivering key brand, retail communications and campaigns. This requires an always on and consistent brand and retail presence and includes the management of the channels that effectively position them to increase sales performance, traffic and customer engagement in an omni-channel business.
The Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver the annual strategic marketing and communications plan, with a strong focus on the Advertising & Promotional (A&P) calendar, ensuring objectives are met and stakeholders are aligned.
- Maintain and share the rolling 12‑month A&P calendar with key stakeholders, including retail stores and operations
- Lead execution of the 12‑month A&P calendar through creative development of campaigns, promotions and advertising materials.
- Ensure all brand and retail events, campaigns and communications align with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate product team briefs and ensure all required information is provided.
- Develop and communicate internal project timelines to all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Coordinator, Social Manager and PR Manager on all photography shoots and production, including pre‑production, logistics, product management, shoot coordination, on‑site supervision and post‑production.
- Degree qualified with approx 7-10 years' quantifiable experience in marketing strategy and implementation – we want to hear results from what you've done
- Marketing all-rounder with strong B2C marketing experience who has a thorough track record within the retail space both online and in-store
- Strong commercial acumen who understands how to hit commercial objectives and get a strong ROI
- Strong budget management experience
- Exceptional stakeholder management and soft skills who can build relationships and influence accordingly too
- As a person you are extremely self-aware with a growth mindset (no big egos sorry:) )
