About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing one of the core categories within the business.

The role is responsible for the delivery of growth and profitability in this category, new product development, customer engagement and project management from concept to delivery. 

The role will collaborate with our sales teams to identify market opportunities and create integrated marketing campaigns that bring the brand strategy to life across various channels.

Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Having a thorough understanding of relevant segments of the market to maximise local, global, and competitive positioning.
  • Establish marketing plans, gather / influence resources, mobilise resources, and carry out the actual delivery of projects to agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Creating marketing materials (case studies, references, etc).
  • Lead and influence internal stakeholders eg customer service, production.
  • Identify product gaps and map out development/action plans to address.
  • Manage projects including new products, customer specific activities, customer base activities, and the financial performance of the segment.
  • Provide detailed costings for designated programmes and develop price research and pricing strategy.
  • Perform data mining to meet the needs of ad hoc and monthly reporting.
  • Lead the introduction of new items to the channel and sales force.
  • Timely reporting of expenses, activities, results, market position, and ROI.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to manage and develop established customer relationships and identify opportunities and new markets.
  • Create tactics for sales targets that are in line with the objectives of the segment and business model.
  • Assist in finalising the annual budget for the Head of Marketing.
  • Tracking, analysing, and reporting key performance metrics including campaign performance reports. 
  • Make data driven decisions using report metrics.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • 5+ years of working experience as a Product Manager / Marketing Manager / Channel Manager, ideally for a B2B Business
  • Strong commercial background ideally within a Manufacturing, Industrial, B2B or FMCG background
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen with a deep understanding of customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
