Role Purpose
A hands-on mechanical engineer to lift capability across maintenance, reduce downtime, manage spare parts, and shift culture from reactive to predictive. This is a newly shaped role due to site complexity and need for more hands-on engineering presence.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience.
- Project management + CAPEX experience.
- Strong mechanical breakdown, root cause analysis and fault-finding skills.
- Excel + AutoCAD + engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Reduce downtime through structured problem solving.
- Support development of CMMS and maintenance systems.
- Provide leadership and influence – site is lacking in this at present.
