Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications Manager, alongside a team of three, the Media and Communications Manager will be given ownership to manage reactive and proactive media, external communications including social media and community management.
This will be parental leave cover for three-months and there is a schedule of exciting projects in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop media stories for internal stakeholders, retail stores as well as to customers
- Deliver proactive media stories through media contacts that will be provided
- Issues / crisis management
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop engaging content for external communication channels
- Social media and community engagement management
- Proactive media experience is a must and is passionate about good stories
- Retail experience is highly advantageous
- Issues management experience is a must
- Strong stakeholder management
- Excellent time management skills
