- Role: Mental Health Clinician
- Setting: Public hospital in Regional Victoria
- Focus: Community Mental Health
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive psychiatric assessment and formulation
- Delivery of case management and structured therapeutic interventions
- Crisis assessment, risk formulation, and management
- Care coordination in collaboration with consumers, carers, GPs, and support agencies
- Participation in multidisciplinary team reviews and clinical governance processes
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within Community Mental Health in an Australian healthcare setting
- Post Grad qualifications in Mental Health
- Demonstrated expertise in psychiatric assessment, clinical formulation, and the delivery of recovery-oriented interventions
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, crisis work, and care planning
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a commitment to integrated, multidisciplinary care
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate clinical leadership, and support service innovation in a regional setting
