About the Role Are you looking for a rewarding and diverse community mental health role? We’re partnering with a leading public regional health service in Gippsland seeking Community Clinicians to provide high-quality, recovery-focused mental health care.

This is your chance to work with adults (26+) or young people (0-25 years) in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, delivering timely assessments, safety planning, and trauma-informed interventions.

You’ll work within a person-centred, culturally sensitive framework, collaborating with consumers, families, carers, and your team to support recovery and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical assessments, safety planning, and triage using standardised tools
  • Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans and support discharge
  • Provide individual, group, and family-based interventions and psychoeducation
  • Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation

Key Requirements
  • Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist (with AHPRA registration or AASW eligibility)
  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience in mental health (preferred)
  • Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to high-quality, person-centred care
  • Valid Working With Children Check and National Police Record Check
Nice to Haves
  • Post-graduate qualifications in mental health
  • Experience working with NDIS participants or in community mental health
  • Ability to work across both adult (26+) and youth (0-25) populations
