We are seeking a seasoned Microsoft Azure Engineer to backfill a key role within our client's IT team. This is an initial 6-month contract position with potential to extend.

Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure solutions to support organizational needs.
- Azure AD Administration: Maintain and troubleshoot Azure Active Directory.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that Azure deployments adhere to security policies and compliance requirements.
- Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment and management tasks.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize Azure environments for cost and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, developers, and stakeholders to integrate Azure solutions with existing systems.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure AD, virtual machines, networking, and storage solutions.
- 3+ years of experience as a Microsoft Azure Engineer
- Strong background in IT infrastructure management.
- Understanding of networking principles and security best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Government or Local Council experience is desired but not essential.
