About the role:
We are seeking an dynamic National Pricing Manager to lead and develop pricing strategies that maximise profitability while maintaining market competitiveness. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to collaborate across multiple teams and functions, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with financial objectives and current market conditions.
- Lead, mentor, and support a small and collaborative team of pricing analysts to ensure high performance and strong engagement.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess pricing effectiveness, revenue growth, and margin improvements.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to create pricing models that drive revenue growth.
- Determine optimal pricing based on cost analysis, market trends, and strategic goals.
- Establish pricing governance frameworks and maintain consistent pricing processes across the business.
- Create and implement automated pricing tools and reporting for both national and regional use.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.
- Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing pricing strategies across multiple products and customer segments.
- Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience handling large data sets.
- Proven experience in leading teams and improving engagement for high performance.
- Strong numerical and statistical analysis skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Qlik is advantageous.
