Full Time Position:
The Managed Operating Environment (MOE) modernisation project will transition the department's MOE platform to a cloud-based solution, modernising the way that end users use their devices to access the programs, files and systems they need for their day-to-day activities.
Part Time Position:
The Automation Modernisation project will modernise and enhance the current bespoke provisioning solution, by transitioning existing platform functionality to ServiceNow Integration Hub and introducing new capabilities to enable self-service automation of a wide range of repetitive technical tasks. This transition will offer an improved user experience, simplified adoption of the new platform and self-service portal by moving to a more modern and familiar interface in ServiceNow. The project will also look to expand on existing ServiceNow functionalities, introducing workflow processes such as approval requests, as well as request status reporting and trend analysis through one centralised system.
Experience responsibilities include:
- Lead the development, implementation, monitoring and review of organisational change initiatives to support the organisations and program/project objectives Tasks / responsibilities.
- Plan, lead and track engagement with program/project stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the program/project manager and relevant business executive to ensure the desired business outcomes are achieved
- Undertake / lead the development and review of organisational change plans, including benefits, communications, business readiness, training and business transition.
- Consult /engage with senior and executive stakeholders to define the business changes they must lead to ensure the benefits are realised.
- As required, undertake project management tasks for organisational change including scheduling, risk and issue management, dependency management, product/deliverable management and status reporting
- Conduct assurance, evaluation, review and lessons learned activities to ensure the effectiveness of change initiatives. Compile relevant reports and make recommendations
- Participate in project and working groups, boards, forums and working parties to ensure stakeholder interests and organisational change strategies are effectively represented
- If required, research, analyse and prepare complex briefs, reports, Cabinet submissions, policy responses and briefings including for use at Ministerial and Director-General level.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in planning and managing strategically aligned organisational change in a large politically charged organisation
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in leading and managing complex ICT-enabled organisational change utilising recognised methodologies
- Ability to work and lead a team within a collaborative environment by providing clear direction and establishing professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- High level written and oral communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated by a superior ability in consultation, networking, negotiation, partnering, advocacy and influencing
